The four lepers had been living stagnant lives of self-pity and apathy until one day they decided that they could not take it anymore, that they will wake up and take their future into their own hands. That's when God moved to unleash the supernatural on their behalf. Where was God all this while? Simple. You see until you move, God is not moved!
