Funke Adeyisan blasts celebrities who didn’t contribute towards bringing the corpse of Moji Olaiya to Nigeria for burial.

Nollywood actress Funke Adeyisan

The Nollywood actress, Funke Adeyisan  storm Instagram to address an issue she could no longer hold within herself about the remains of Moji Olaiya.

Its almost a week after the death of one of Nollywood’s best, Moji Olaiya, and according to her tradition, she should’ve been laid to rest by now, but because she died in Canada, they had to bring her body back to her hometown to bury her.

This has taken this long because  of funds. Initially, there has been news that the governor of her state will be funding the expenses to bring her back home, but that rumour was later debunked as the governor didn’t come out to accept the news as true or refute t as a lie.

Eventually the body was brought home by the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

This issue didn’t go well with some people such as the beautiful Funke Adeyisan who believes some people in the industry would’ve come together to fund the expenses of bringing the late actress’ body back to the country, rather than seeking help and waiting for other state to do it. The actress blasts some of her colleagues without mentioning names, that they keep acting like they have too much whereas everything they own is either “dash” or “borrow”.

May the spirit of Moji Olaiya who departed this world continue to rest in peace, Amen.
